All the hits and more as Darkside bring Pink Floyd to Redditch's Palace Theatre

PINK Floyd tribute band Darkside return to The Palace Theatre for their second performance with the Remember When You Were Young? Tour which features the sensational vocalist Faye Brookes.

This promises to be an evening to remember of classic Floyd performed with passion and empathy, complete with light, laser and projections to capture the essence of Floyd at their best.

From the outset the concept of Darkside has been to capture both the spirit and the tonality of the music without being afraid to add to or adapt to the originals to provide that genuine ‘live’ feel.

Darkside use a vast array of lighting, laser and pyrotechnic effects and offer a performance inspired by the shows that made the Floyd famous from their debut in the late 1960s, through the Seventies and into the 1980s with the blockbusting tours of ‘The Wall’.

Light projections and moving images complement the band’s act, provided by a dedicated team of sound and lighting engineers.

Tailoring the set list to each individual venue, Darkside cover the Floyd’s immense back catalogue of records almost in its entirety, playing tracks from what is affectionately referred to as the ‘Barrett Era’ with hits like ‘Arnold Layne’ and ‘See Emily Play’ all the way to the later Roger Waters driven albums of ‘Animals’ and ‘The Wall’ and beyond to ‘A Momentary Lapse of Reason’ and ‘The Division Bell’

Darkside play the Palace tomorrow, Saturday (October 1) at 7.30pm and tickets are £18 available in person or at the box office on 01527 65203 or buy online at www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk .
