NINE-piece Pink Floyd tribute band The Wall of Floyd play the Palace Theatre, Redditch next Friday, July 3.

Formed five years ago out of their love of music and passion for Pink Floyd, the band members have diverse backgrounds and ages, but all have the dedication and skill needed to accurately re-produce the music they love.

Hampshire-based, they performed regularly at small local music venues to great acclaim before, as word quickly spread, to packed houses and larger halls.

Their commitment, skill and experience have enabled them to put together a two-and-a-half hour delight that showcases the very best of Pink Floyd.

From the early years of Syd Barrett that started Floyd on their amazing journey through albums such as Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You were Here and including the re-released Division Bell, all the iconic hits are here plus a few less well known numbers that when included in one show create a deeper and more varied example of the wonderful sound of Pink Floyd.

Their performance includes Wearing the Inside Out, Shine on You Crazy Diamond, Brick in The Wall, Money, Arnold Lane and a spine tingling vocal solo by Ashley Austin in The Great Gig in the Sky. A couple of great songs from the Final Cut album are also included that are rarely played by other tribute bands.

Pink Floyd music appeals to all ages and attracts many thousands of new fans every year adding to its existing millions worldwide.

Amazing music and vocals, combined with a stunning light show make this an evening to remember and an opportunity to experience a truly great part of British rock music.

Tickets are £18.75 and £16.75 (disc) on 01527 65203 or in person from the box office or buy online at www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk .
