TICKETS are selling fast for the Sunshine Festival at Upton upon Severn.

Individual day tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday have all been snapped up but there is still a number of weekend tickets available for music fans.

And no wonder they’re selling fast with a great line-up scheduled for the Bank Holiday weekend.

Sunshine Festival, now in it’s seventh year, really is the heart of England’s best family music festival.

The three day event is held in a picturesque setting with a stunning backdrop of the Malvern Hills. Each and every year it welcomes musical and variety legends from across the musical spectrum and this year is no different.

On the Friday evening the focus is heavily on the 70s with legendary acts Kiki Dee, Mud, Hello and Nazareth set to perform. Saturday sees Midge Ure, Roland Gift’s Fine Young Cannibals,T’Pau, Mari Wilson and Bad Manners.

Sunday sees The legendary Bay City Rollers and Sister Sledge, plus Leo Sayer, Beverley Craven, Brother Beyond and more.

Staggering as is may seem with that line-up, that’s just the start as there are four stages over the three days with more than 100 acts performing.

The Variety Stage will see comedy acts including legends such as Bobby Davro, Mick Miller, Jimmy Cricket, Roger De Courcey and more.

The Sunflower Stage for 2016 is dedicated to tribute acts, with performances from Kings Ov Leon, Only One Direction, Bon Jovi Experience to name a few and fantastic tributes to George Michael, Ed Sheeran, Elvis, Kylie and more.

Finally it’s not just about the music as there will be a huge inflatable land, an extensive traders village and a food village showcasing culinary delights from across the world.

Full weekend adult prices with camping are £95 and £70 without camping. Under 12s go free. Visit http://www.uptonfestival.co.uk/ for full details.
