A prize fit for a hero

THE Redditch Standard has joined the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in offering a VIP experience to local people who deserve a special treat.

Whether it’s a local hero who does good in the community, a colleague who’s gone above and beyond, or a family member or friend who you’d like to say ‘thank you’ to – you can nominate anyone you think deserves a VIP experience for the day at the centre.

On Monday, September 21, the chosen group will be treated to a spot of retail therapy, a makeover, hair styling, and a fashion shoot with outfits chosen by a stylist, as well as a special afternoon tea and goody bag.

Ken Williams, general manager at the Kingfisher Shopper Centre, said: “We’re looking forward to inviting some of Redditch’s most commendable residents into the centre for a VIP experience.

“The centre has undergone extensive refurbishments in recent months, including the revamp of Worcester Square and the reopening of Evesham Walk, and our fashion offering continues to strengthen with the arrival of Swarovski and H&M’s expansion.

“Our VIP day kicks off our two-week Autumn/Winter fashion celebrations, and we hope our deserving winners enjoy experiencing what the Kingfisher Shopping Centre has to offer.”

If you have someone in mind and would like to nominate them for the VIP experience, all you have to do is tell Kingfisher Shopping Centre why you think they deserve to be a VIP for the day.

For details on how to nominate, visit www.kingfishershopping.co.uk/competitions. Entries close at 5pm on Sunday, September 13.
