REDDITCH police are appealing for further witnesses to a serious collision on the A448 Bromsgrove Highway.

At about 5.35pm on Friday (October 30) a motorcyclist was travelling towards Redditch on a vintage Royal Enfield motorcycle when he was in collision with a black VW Passat.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

The driver of the VW is currently assisting police with their enquiries but there may have been more witnesses at the time who officers would like to speak to.

The road is a busy dual carriageway and the incident occurred during rush hour.

We urge anyone with any information to contact us on 101 quoting incident 509S of October 30.
