Armed robbers threaten staff at a Redditch store

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses after a robbery from a convenience store on Birchfield Road, Redditch last night (July 4).

The incident happened shortly after 8.25pm when two men entered the store and threatened a member of staff, before leaving the scene with a large amount of cash from the till.

The first man was wearing a black hooded top with a dark blue hooded jacket over the top, dark trousers, black gloves and had a white material face covering.

The second man was wearing a dark blue hooded top and light blue tracksuit trousers with two vertical stripes on them. He was also wearing black gloves and a white material face covering.




It is thought that the two men left the area along Heathfield Road on bicycles.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the men above is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 786s of July 4
