TEDDY bears descended from the sky over Alcester as part of a day dedicated to boosting funds for the church.
St Nicholas Church offered the perfect drop zone for youngsters to let their favourite fluffy friends parachute to the ground in return for a donation.
All the money made from the day will be going to the £200,000 target which is needed to restore the iconic building.
A campaign was launched after a compulsory inspection found the stonework had to be replaced by specialist stonemasons.
So far money has been given to the cause by Alcester Court Leet as well as other fund-raising events.
