RESIDENTS are being urged to bounce their day away to help a terminally ill mother send her children to Disneyland.
Personal trainer, Jamie Hodgkinson, will be holding boogie bounce sessions this Sunday (March 29) in a bid to enable Natalie Bradley-Price to send her two children to Florida.
The father was inspired to host the event which involves exercising on mini-trampolines after learning about Natalie’s dying wish to see her sons Bradley and Callum get the holiday of a lifetime.
A total of £5,000 is needed and Jamie is asking for a donation of £5 per person on the day at Studley Road Social Club.
He said: “Having a little boy myself, who is also called Callum, it really hit home.
“These boys are going to lose the person who means the most to them and I just really wanted to do something to help make the trip happen.”
He added the half hour sessions, which will take place from 11am until 4pm, are a fun way to boost funds.
“It will be a really great day because the whole time people will be smiling and laughing and it raises money for a fantastic cause.”
