A YOUNG boy has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car in Church Hill South over the weekend.
The incident happened in Exhall Close at around 11.35am on Saturday (July 25).
A rapid response paramedic, an ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance attended the scene where they found the child with serious leg injuries, suspected pelvic injuries and abrasions to his face and arms.
The youngster, believed to be six-years-old, was stabilised at the scene before being airlifted for further emergency treatment at Birmingham Childrens Hospital, which had been pre alerted to the child’s arrival.
