IT WAS ready, steady, go for Brownies as they raced against each other during sports day.
Eleven divisions of the Girl Guiding groups from across Redditch hopped, skipped and jumped their way to success at Trinity High School last Saturday (June 13).
The event attracted more than 130 girls, as well as their parents and family members who cheered on the youngsters and special guest Mayor Pattie Hill who opened the games.
Each girl earned both an agility and circus performance badge after taking part in the fun-filled day of activities which included hula-hooping, an obstacle course and foam javelin throwing.
And the rain didn’t dampen their spirits as they also had fun on a bouncy castle.
