MORE people can be trained up to help victims of crime thanks to a Winter Fête organised by volunteers.
A total of £263 raised through the event at the Redi Centre was handed over to Victim Support by Coun Rebecca Blake and her team on Wednesday (December 10).
Coun Blake, who organised the day to coincide with the 16 Days of Action against domestic abuse, said she wished to thank the volunteers who had made it a success.
Elizabeth Finn, service delivery manager for North Worcestershire community service at the charity, said the money would be put towards training volunteers.
“The money will go a long way.” she said.
