Updated: 9:49 am, May 07, 2015

AN EVENING of classic songs from the cinema and theatre will be on offer this Saturday (November 28).

Arrow Vale Singers will be perfoming their Autumn Concert at St Stephen’s Church from 7.30pm.

The night will include seasonal favourites as well as the choir’s first public performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria.

A spokesman from the choir said: “We are very excited to be singing this work in such a lovely venue, after many months of diligent practice, and hope that the local community will come along to hear it.”

Refreshments will be available, while guests can also take part in a raffle with the chance to win a special Christmas hamper.

Tickets cost £8 and are available on the door or in advance by calling 01527 893525.

Some of the proceeds from the evening will be donated towards the choir’s charity of the year, the Midlands Air Ambulance.
