CARERS have been delivering a festive treat to help those in need this Christmas.
Staff from Kare Plus Worcestershire are busy sending hampers of goodies to those they care for across Redditch and Bromsgrove.
The idea was suggested by carer Becky Clarke who knew many would not be able to afford the little extras such as mince pies and shortbread others take for granted.
Registered care manager Kim Hutchins said: “We have a lovely team of carers who really do care for the people they look after, and they embraced this idea, bringing in all sort of goodies for the Christmas hampers.
“Thanks to their generosity, we’ll be able to bring a little festive cheer to several of those we care for, hopefully making their individual Christmas a touch more special.”
