LEADERS from a number of Redditch churches came together at the weekend to sign a covenant agreement celebrating their continued partnership.
The event, at the town centre bandstand in Church Green, included words from Sarah Leeson, chairwoman of the Redditch Town Centre Churches Committee.
There was a picnic and short celebration service involving members of the congregations from St Stephen’s (C of E), Our Lady of Mount Carmel (RC), Emmanuel (Methodist and URC), Salvation Army (and formerly St George’s), Redditch Baptist Church and Oasis (Elim Pentecostal).
