A SUPPLIER of children’s meals to nurseries and primary schools in Redditch has scooped Worcestershire’s top award for healthier and locally sourced food.

Cupcakes Early Years Catering in Hanbury supplies over 800 meals a day with customers including Ragamuffins pre-school on Birchfield Road, Bright Kids Crabbs Cross on Evesham Road, Tiny Tribes at Cladswell Hall Farm and Astwood Smiles nursery on Feckenham Road.

The company was awarded the gold level healthier choice food award from Worcestershire regulatory services.

This recognises the use of seasonal, local ingredients in their menu of healthier nutritionally balanced meals.
