Cycle challenge in aid of charity

STAFF from a recruitment firm will be hitting the Derbyshire hills for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Members from First Personnel, based in Market Place, will be pedalling 26 miles through the Peak District tomorrow (Saturday) to raise funds for the charity which cares for life limited children and their families.

They have teamed-up with Choices Gym on Alcester Street, where bosses have paid for t-shirts with the charity’s name on as well as the gym’s.

Rob Hackles, recruitment consultant for First Personnel, said they wanted to boost funds for charities in the area.

“Acorn’s do fantastic work and we wanted to show our support to them.”
