A CYCLIST was hit by a car at the top of Rough Hill Drive on the A441 in Redditch last night, Tuesday, June 9.
Two ambulances attended the scene which a policeman, busy diverting traffic down the A448 – The Slough, said happened at about 8.20pm.
The ambulances had stopped on the traffic island itself, where the Evesham Road and Windmill Drive also meet, and two sports bikes could be seen lying on the road as one of the cyclists looked anxiously on as paramedics worked on his companion.
The injured cyclist, a woman in her 30s, sustained injuries to her head, knees and shoulder and was taken to the Alexandra Hospital under blue lights for further treatment.
