A REDDITCH couple who have lived in the same house for the past 59 years have double cause to celebrate this summer.
Diana and Jack Huebner, of Greenlands Avenue, celebrated their 60th weddding anniversary on Wednesday (July 22), just three weeks after Diana’s 80th birthday on June 29.
“We could not have wished for better parents,” said daughter Rachel. “My Dad deserves a medal after putting up with four women in the house.”
The parents-of-three tied the knot in 1955 at St Georges Church, in Smallwood, before heading back to the mother-of-the-bride’s house for a sandwich reception and then a trip to the cinema with a box of Maltesers.
