Emma's into The Body finals

Redditch Editorial 4th Sep, 2015 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

CT superintendent radiographer Emma Land has made it to the top five finalists in the national Women’s Health The Body 2015 competition.

Emma, who leads a double-life as a fitness instructor, has been chosen from thousands candidates across the UK in the fitness and wellbeing model competition.

Alongside her healthy living regime, Emma has worked in the radiology department at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch for the last 16 years.

Emma said: “I never expected to get this far in the competition. I feel like I’m in a dream, it’s completely unreal.”

Emma’s fitness motivation came from a desire to lose weight and lead a healthy lifestyle. At age 27, Emma was a size 18 and weighed over 14 stone and, as a result, suffered from a lack of confidence.

She now runs a number of workout classes in Redditch, including bodycombat, bodypump and bodybalance.

To help Emma’s dream become reality, please vote for her on the Women’s Health website.
