OVER 400 families enjoyed the Community Funday organised jointly by the YMCA and Church Hill Big Local Partnership on Monday (August 3).
The Big Red Playbus was a huge hit with ‘Church youngsters, as were the ‘Creepy Encounters’ with tarantulas, snakes and lizards.
Amongst other attractions were a bouncy castle, ‘Beat the Goalie’, face painting and junk modelling.
Church Hill Big Local Partnership were consulting residents about a new play area being built at Willow Trees Community Centre, and also future activities taking place in the area.
