IT was a great family affair for Maude Hubbocks when her family and friends joined her to celebrate her 100th birthday.
There were loads of gifts and cards from wellwishers and, of course, a card from The Queen for the Redditch resident, who originally hails from Yorkshire and is now a resident at Parklands care home in Callow Hill Lane.
Her daughter Denise Howell said her mum’s family extended to four children, nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren who all there to wish her well. She thanked staff at Parklands for doing so much to make her mum’s day special.
