Family of Eve Cullen pay tribute

THE FAMILY of a woman who was found dead in Hollywood have said they will ‘miss her enormously’.

Eve Cullen, who lived in the village, was discovered by member of the public by a footpath near Chantry Close on August 9.

The 52-year-old sparked an extensive search by West Mercia Police officers after disappearing from her home for more than three weeks.

Mrs Cullen was originally from Birmingham and had lived in Kings Norton for 19 years before moving to Hollywood just under five years ago.

She leaves behind her husband of 23 years, Peter, and their three children – Laura, aged 20, and 15-year-old twins Charlotte and James.

In a statement, the family said: “Eve was a very caring person and was very family orientated. She was committed to being the centre of our family and always put us first.

“We have three greyhounds and Eve loved them too. A lot of people would know her from walking the dogs. She was quite outgoing and would always stop and have a chat with people, especially the elderly.

“She was clearly quite well known. We have had piles of cards from people offering their condolences.

“We miss her enormously. It does not seem real that she has gone and we are all still trying to come to terms with the fact that she is not here anymore.”

The family has requested the media continue to respect their privacy while they grieve at this difficult time.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious and her inquest is due to take place in January next year.
