REDDITCH schools are being invited to enter designs for road safety banners as part of a competition linked to Road Safety Week , which will be held in November
For the eighth consecutive year, school uniform specialist Recognition Express Birmingham South is joining forces with national road safety charity Brake to hold this popular competition.
Children aged four to 11 are being set the challenge to design a banner conveying a road safety message of their choice from this year’s Road Safety Week theme, which is the ‘Make the Brake’ pledge.
The pledge focuses on six elements, these being slow, sober, secure, silent, sharp and sustainable.
Paul Ferreira, owner of Recognition Express Birmingham South, said: “We receive more interest in our road safety banners competition every year, and the quality of entries is always very high.
“This year’s theme gives children a lot of scope to focus on an aspect of road safety that particularly,” he added.
