REDDITCH landlords are urged to seize an opportunity to be brought up to speed on recent changes in taxation, legislation and property standards at a free open event.
The Bromsgrove and Redditch Private Landlords’ Forum is set to hear about such changes, including the right to rent and ensuring properties meet safety requirement, on April 21.
Presentations will be delivered by Rosy Hughes from Burgess and Bullock Accountants, the National Landlords Association’s representative Mary Latham and the Council’s Private Sector Officer Haroon Chaudhry.
Redditch Borough Council’s strategic housing manager, Derek Allen, said: “We see this as an important event for landlords working in the Bromsgrove and Redditch area.
“We’re devoting more time to tax and legislative changes to help our landlords operate successful and compliant businesses and provide quality housing for tenants .”
The forum is set to take place at the Council House, in Parkside, Bromsgrove from 3.30pm to 6.45pm.
Landlords are encouraged to reserve a seat at this very popular event by contacting the borough council’s Strategic Housing Team on [email protected] or 01527 881799.
