TOWN Mayor Pat Witherspoon was joined by Redditch United representatives for the official opening of a new independent mobile phone shop in the Kingfisher Centre on Saturday (August 30).
The latest Go Mobile franchise has been launched by co-directors Robert Fornal and Dominika Plenzler who said they want to offer a large choice of phones and devices, value for money and an unprecedented after-sales service so they could help people if products did go wrong.
Robert, who was the manager of an EE store, had his own shop two years ago and Dominika had her own business before they joined forces.
They have also created two more jobs in the town.
And the pair said they ware hoping local businesses would use the store and that they were planning to run charity events, such as coffee mornings.
