A TOWN centre charity helping keep youngsters off the streets has been awarded £1,000.
Redditch Nightstop was given the money as part of the Lloyds Bank Community Fund 2014 following a public vote to enable it to continue doing good work with young people at risk of homelessness.
They provide emergency overnight accommodation and longer-term supported lodgings for those aged 16 to 25.
Project manager Gill Groom said: “The award will make a huge difference to our work by enabling us to continue to provide support and accommodation, making a difference to the lives of young for homeless young people in Redditch.”
