THE ROYAL Life Saving Society UK’s (RLSS UK) first Open Water Festival made a big splash at Ragley Hall last weekend.
The Ragley Crawl saw participants from across the country take the plunge into the estate’s lake on Saturday (September 26) as part of the charity’s first open water swimming event, with all funds raised going towards RLSS drowning prevention work.
With over 400 people losing their lives every year from drowning, the society works tirelessly to ensure everyone of all ages can enjoy water safely.
The Ragley Crawl saw swimmers tackle a one-mile, half a mile or team relay course whilst youngsters enjoyed shorter distances.
