INFORMATION about services for older residents was on offer at the Town Hall.
More than 100 visitors flocked to the event which was organised by Redditch Older People’s Forum last Thursday.
Exhibitors such as Sight Concern and Debt Direct were on hand to offer advice and support, while free health checks also took place for those over 55.
A directory of services and clubs in the town was also available to visitors.
Mayor Pat Witherspoon, who is chair of the forum, said the feedback from the day was very positive.
“Lots of people said it was very helpful and they enjoyed talking to everyone, so it was a really successful day.”
Redditch Older People’s Forum meets every second Thursday of every month at the town’s Ecumenical Centre.
