BACKING for the March to Save the Alex campaign, announced in the Redditch Standard, is snowballing as more and more people announce their intention to attend the rally.
The campaign group, which has brought the plight of the Alex to national attention, said the people of Redditch were passionate about saving services at the hospital and were prepared to join the event to demonstrate their determination to keep them.
“We urge everyone to come along – this is your hospital, your future, your health care.” said Save the Alex chairman Neal Stote.
The aim of the march is to gather at Redditch Town Hall and then walk to the bandstand where a number of speakers have been lined up to address the health issue in Redditch.
There will also be prizes up for grabs for the best banners.
