THE Alcester Zombie Pub Crawl was back with avengence last weekend, infesting the streets for the annual Halloween Scream Fest that has become an underground phenomenon in the town.
But these are kind-hearted Zombies who raised £170 for the Alcester Café – £80 of which was matched by the town’s William Hill bookmakers.
The drop-in Café, who’s volunteers work to support people suffering from Dementia and their carers, operates on a twice weekly basis and is free of charge.
Make up specialists from Pathogen Films were on hand to give participants that undead look for a small fee and the Royal Oak on High Street played host to the zombie final party.
