WYTHALL pupils honoured those who lost their lives in the First World War with a remembrance service.
Pupils gathered at St Mary’s Church where they met members of the Royal British Legion and read out poems.
They then watched a documentary and took part in a workshop called Meaning in the Mud, before writing messages on poppies which will be displayed on the school’s remembrance wall.
It follows a week of lessons which are all dedicated to the Great War and investigated local memorials, learning how to do traditional first aid and cooking ration food.
