PUBLIC spirited members of Bromsgrove and Redditch Soroptimists cleaned up at Moreton Stanley Park in Redditch with a litter pick on Monday (June 6).
And club president Margaret Toole praised the residents of Redditch for making their job so much easier.
She said: “We were very impressed with the tidiness of the area and the number of litter bins which were being used. So well done the people of Redditch.
“Having said that we did find enough to make the task worth doing. Thanks to Redditch Borough Council for providing the picking sticks, bags and gloves.”
The local Soroptimists are a great organisation for women, supporting good causes both at home and abroad and having fun together on trips, get-togethers and social evenings.
