Man attacked in town centre

A MAN has been arrested following an attack in Redditch town centre.

West Mercia Police officers were called to Alcester Street about 2.15am on Saturday, September 13 after a man was assaulted near to the market stalls.

A man in their 30s was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail.

But officers are trying to trace the victim who is a white man, with blond or mousy coloured hair and was wearing a dark coloured long sleeve top and trousers.
