A MAN was attacked with a branch as he walked through Greenlands.
The 55-year-old was on Landor Road about 9.45pm on Thursday, January 15, when he was approached by another man who asked him his name.
He was then struck to his lower body with a piece of wood he believed was a branch from a tree and was taken to the Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
The attacker was in his late teens to early twenties, white, slim, and was wearing a dark coat and trousers.
He also had a Staffordshire Bull Terrier or Pit Bull-type dog with him.
