A SERVICE run by the county’s leading provider of community and mental health services which helps get those with mental health illnesses in Redditch back into meaningful employment has been hailed as ‘exemplary’ in a recent national review.
The Individual Placement Support (IPS) service, run by Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, has been reviewed through the national Centre of Mental Health and has had its accreditation as a national Centre of Excellence renewed.
The latest review has not only maintained that status, but has seen the IPS service rated as ‘exemplary’ – one of only four trusts across the entiire UK.
The review reported that the Trust demonstrated “commitment to employment as a desired outcome and integral part of recovery for anyone who aspires to it.”
