Redditch Editorial 17th Jun, 2014 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

MONEY was stolen during a break-in at a Lakeside home.

Burglars are believed to have accessed the property in Sillins Avenue via an alleyway running between the road and Margaret Llewellyn Davies Close, between 1.45pm and 7.30pm last Wednesday (June 11).

They forced a door before carrying out an untidy search of all rooms.

Det Con Paul Lettis, from Redditch CID, said: “Burglary is an insidious and distressing crime which can have a deep and lasting impact on victims.

“We are determined to catch those responsible and bring them to justice but we need people to help us by giving us information about suspicious activity or the names of anyone they know or think is involved in this type of criminality.”

Anyone with any information should contact Det Con Lettis on Redditch Police Station on 101 quoting incident reference 704-S-110614 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
