THE TOWN’S RSA Academy Arrow Vale welcomed parents, teachers, students and governors to a very special VIP evening last week.
For the last two weeks the Green Sward Lane site has been home to an educational exhibition – Anne Frank: A History for Today, courtesy of the Anne Frank Trust UK.
Helen Parry from the Anne Frank Trust, was also present to congratulate the students on their exceptional behaviour both in learning about the exhibition and sharing what they have learnt with their peers.
A number of pupil peer guides led around 210 students each around the exhibition, which will have been seen by 1,000 students by the time it leaves Arrow Vale.
A further 520 young people will be attended a moving testimony by Mindu Hornick, an Auschwitz survivor on Friday (April 29).
