FANS of TV’s Mr Bloom were in luck last week as children’s favourite gardener dropped in to Kingfisher Shopping Centre for a special visit.
As part of the Centre’s jam-packed summer schedule Mr Bloom performed two shows for hundreds of adoring fans.
A group of 45 children who’d pre-registered for the chance to meet the star were also lucky enough to get a cherished photo with him on the day. They also got their hands on an exclusive Mr Bloom goodie bag courtesy of the centre.
Mr Bloom has been a huge hit with youngsters since bursting onto TV screens in March 2011. Mr Bloom’s Nursery is designed to help children get inspired and involved with nature.
Katie Broome, marketing manager at Kingfisher Shopping Centre, said: “It was great to have so many families join us for our fun-filled session with Mr Bloom last Thursday.
“We had a lot of laughs and the children enjoyed getting involved in lots of entertaining games and challenges. Since the event we’ve received some wonderful comments from visitors about how much they enjoyed themselves which is fantastic!”
