THE WINYATES Centre is now home to a second training room which will enable the number of courses on offer by Inspire Community Training and Development to double this year.
Mayor Councillor Pattie Hill offically opened the new facility, which will operate in the same courtyard as the existing training room and offices, on Friday (August 21).
“The best is yet to come,” said Karen Martin, co-director. “We can now run events for whole families to attend together and as the new room has a much larger kitchen we can offer cookery courses to promote healthier diets and home cooking.”
Karen is also welcoming youngsters to the facility to take part in activities such as painting.
The centre is open from 9.30am to 4pm weekdays and between 10am and 3pm on Saturdays.
