Nightclub submits revamp plan

Redditch Editorial 5th Mar, 2015 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

A BOROUGH club could undergo a significant revamp and extension.

The owners of Fever, on Market Place, have put forward a planning application to Redditch Borough Council to expand the venue into office space next door.

The plans would see the existing ground floor undergo a complete refurbishment, while a new stairwell would be installed to link to the first floor.

A second room would be created on the first floor in the space of the former offices, while the bar would also be extended and the toilets changed.

If the proposals are given the go-ahead by councillors on April 8 it would see the club’s capacity increase.

All of the work would be internal and no alterations would be made to the outside of the building.
