A GROUP which helps the young homeless in Redditch will be taking to the streets for a night to mark World Homeless Day.
Redditch Nightstop will hold its annual sponsored Sleep Out on October 10 at Tesco in Oakenshaw and is inviting Redditch residents to join staff and volunteers on the night.
Although the Sleep Out is not the full ‘homeless experience’, it will give participants an insight into what around 2,500 people across England face every night.
Nightstop recommends participants bring warm clothes and a sleeping bag to wrap up in and some cardboard to sleep on.
