Nostalgic flavour to Redditch bandstand for Queen

THE TIME is nearly here to celebrate the Queen’s birthday at the Bandstand in Church Green tomorrow (Saturday).

The day will be filled with live music, food, face painting, and a display of all the pictures of the Queen from her visit to Redditch in 1983 that have been sent in the last few weeks.

There was also be stall for residents to bring in more photos which can be scanned, added to the display and used by the Redditch Historical Society.

The Brownies will also be on hand earning their hospitality badges along with stall for One World Link, Yum Tum Club and other activities for the whole family.
