THE Everywoman’s Circle, formerly the Young Wives and affiliated to the Methodist Church at Headless Cross, held an emotional leaving party in the schoolroom at the old Methodist Church there.
The group have been meeting in the buildings for more than 50 years but have had to change their venue due to the impending demolition of the site.
They will begin a new era in September when they will meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month in the Main Hall at The Bridge, formerly St Luke’s.
