HEADLESS Cross Community Orchard is set to look a little brighter thanks to pupils from a nearby school.
Year 2 and 3 pupils at St Luke’s First School have planted 2,200 spring-flowering bulbs including daffodils, snowdrops and bluebells as part of their Forest School lessons.
Forest School leader Liz Jennings said: “The children really enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to seeing the results of their hard work in the spring. This has been a great opportunity for them to get involved with creating a beautiful display in the local community.”
