X FACTOR finalists Overload Generation are set to bring in crowds with a performance in Redditch.

The boyband, who reached the live shows after judge Mel B picked them as a wild card, will be taking to the stage at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre on Sunday, November 23.

The shopping centre tweeted today (Friday) to confirm the news they were coming to the borough for a second time after they performed to crowds in December last year.

The group which includes members Joey, Andy, Jordi, Ryan and Ollie, also took part in a meet and greet alongside last year’s X Factor finalists Kingsland Road.

Speaking to the Standard before they took to the stage, they said they were looking forward to meeting their Redditch fans.

“Our aim is to bring something new and show our personalities. Obviously we get compared to One Direction, but our music is quite different. We call it cheeky pop,” said Jordi.

“We have been really excited about performing and meeting the fans and making new ones. We love performing and we can’t wait to show Redditch what we can do and fans can look out for our single next year.”
