CHURCH HILL Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) are coming to the aid of parents’ parking concerns.
The school run can be a nightmare for many parents – whether it’s finding a place to park, weaving inbetween cars or trying to navigate the packed pavements with a pushchair and children in tow – mornings can be stressful.
Parents struggling to park on Wood Piece Lane have recently raised concerns over dangerous parking near to Abbeywood School and Church Hill Middle School.
In response, SNT officers have launched a ‘safer outside schools’ campaign which sees them patrolling the area, distributing leaflets to parents and displaying signs that warn drivers of the dangers that come with parking unsuitably.
