A POLICE ambassador has visited a Redditch school to see how it works with the town’s community officers.
Michael Layton, West Mercia Police Community Ambassador for North Worcestershire and the Crime Commissioner, went to Tudor Grange Academy to see how having a PCSO at the school helped to improve community links.
After meeting students Will Moss and Hannah Evans, PCSO Harriet Lloyd gave him a tour around the academy and highlighted how the scheme had provided additional support to staff and a great contact point for students.
She said: “It’s wonderful to see the work of PCSOs in schools is being recognised by the Police and Crime Commissioner.
“I am having a wonderful experience here at Tudor Grange Academy Redditch.”
