Police helicopter scrambled after domestic incident

THE police helicopter was in action over Alcester on Saturday night / Sunday morning (July 18/19) following a domestic incident on the Conway Estate.

Officers werer on the hunt for someone described as ‘vulnerable’, the search ending with the successful location of the individual at 1am.

Elsewhere in Alcester a scrap metal merchant is suspected of taking two garden tools left for a short while outside a house in Birmingham Road between 2pm and 4pm last Friday (July 17).

Wheel trims were stolen off a van parked in the council car park in Moorfields Road between July 16-18 while last Tuesday, (July 14) a driver was arrested following a positive breath test after the car he was driving hit two parked cars in Evesham Street.




Further afield two women, possible East European, are being blamed for the theft of chickens from a house in Park Lane, Great Alne at 3.30pm on Friday (July 17) while in Croft Lane Temple Grafton an orange cement mixer was stolen from a building site in Croft Lane between July 14-16.
