A PONY was abandoned in a field in Inkberrow.
Between 7pm last Sunday (March 8) and and 4pm on Monday (March 9) offenders cut the fence of a sheep field on Main Road in the village.
They then dumped the grey pony, which is 12 hands high, before leaving.
West Mercia officers confirmed it was in good health and it had been collected by a animal sanctuary.
Anyone with any information should call police on 101.
