WOODFIELD Academy pupils showcased their artistic talent recently by creating a textile hanging.
Year 7 students took part in a batik workshop with Malvern-based wax and fabric company Eek Batik.
The art technique uses hot wax to create designs and pupils chose the theme of Pop Art.
The workshop took place after the school was awarded a grant by Worcestershire County Council.
A spokeswoman from Woodfield said the art work was lots of fun to create and the day was a huge success.
Woodfield pupils Hollie Teasdale, Chloe Wilson, Kyra-mae Buffeny and Zoya Fiaz take part in batik art. 1715002R
